Austrian Development Agency

Austrian Development Agency(ADA) is the operational unit of the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC). It is in charge of implementing all bilateral programmes and projects in ADC's partner countries and administers the budget earmarked for this. ADA annually implements 500 programmes and projects.

Czech Development Agency

The Czech development Agency (CzDA) was established by a decision of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs in January 2008. CzDA cooperates with the MFA on the establishment of an institutional framework of the Czech development cooperation and actively participates in the creation of development cooperation programs between the Czech Republic and priority countries as well as on the other stages of the project cycle management.

Brot für die Welt

Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World) is a programme of assistance initiated by the protestant churches in Austria, actively promoting development issues and supporting humanitarian projects worldwide. Brot für die Welt works to assist people who live in poverty and hunger. Launched in Austria in 2011, Brot für die Welt continues the work of "Brot für Hungernde" of the Evangelischen Frauenarbeit in Österreich, as well as that of Diakonie Auslandshilfe.

European Commission Liaison Office

The European Union - both its Member States and its institutions, notably the European Commission - plays a prominent role in the reconstruction and development of Kosovo. The European Union is by far the single largest donor providing assistance to Kosovo and the South Eastern European region as a whole and is at the forefront of the reconstruction effort.

Youth in Action Programme
European Commission

Youth in Action is the EU Programme for young people aged 15-28 (in some cases 13-30). It aims to inspire a sense of active citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among young Europeans and to involve them in shaping the Union's future. Youth in Action is a programme for all! It promotes mobility within and beyond the EU borders, non-formal learning and intercultural dialogue, and encourages the inclusion of all young people, regardless of their educational, social and cultural background.

Gracanica Municipality

Gracanica is one of the oldest towns in Kosovo and one of the newest municipalities. BSF's Gracanica Learning Center is privileged to use a purpose built municipal building.

Kosovo Foundation for Open Society

The Open Society Institute works to build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are accountable to their citizens. To achieve its mission, OSI seeks to shape public policies that assure greater fairness in political, legal, and economic systems and safeguard fundamental rights. On a local level, OSI implements a range of initiatives to advance justice, education, public health, and independent media. At the same time, OSI builds alliances across borders and continents on issues such as corruption and freedom of information. OSI places a high priority on protecting and improving the lives of people in marginalized communities.

Norwegian Embassy

The objective of Norway's development policy is to fight poverty and bring about social justice. In its budget for 2009, the Government achieved its target of allocating 1 percent of gross national income (GNI) to international development. The Royal Norwegian Embassy has generously supported the Learning Centers over a period of years.

People in Need

People in Need (PIN) is a Czech organization that provides relief aid and development assistance, while working to defend human rights and democratic freedom.  At home, People in Need administers social integration programs in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and provides informative and educational activities. PIN is one of the largest organizations of its kind in post-communist Europe, and has administered projects in thirty-seven countries over the past fourteen years.

Obiliq Municipality

Obiliq is a town and municipality in central Kosovo, belonging to the Pristina district. The municipality includes the town of Obilić and 19 villages, with a total population of approximately 21,548. The municipality is located immediately north-west of Pristina on the main road to Kosovska Mitrovica. It was created in 1989, prior to which it formed part of Pristina municipality

Roma Education Fund

The Roma Education Fund (REF) was created in the framework of the Decade of Roma Inclusion in 2005. Its mission and ultimate goal is to close the gap in educational outcomes between Roma and non-Roma. In order to achieve this goal, the organization supports policies and programs which ensure quality education for Roma, including the desegregation of education systems.

Solidar Switzerland: Committed to a fairer society – socially, politically and economically. With over 50 projects in 12 countries and campaigns in Switzerland.Supports development programmes in China, Bolivia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, El Salvador, Kosovo, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Serbia, South Africa and Sri Lanka.

The Municipality of Shtime has offered excellent cooperation, support and space to work to the Shtime Learning Center.

UNMIK

The mandate of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) was established by the Security Council in its resolution 1244 (1999). The Mission is mandated to help ensure conditions for a peaceful and normal life for all inhabitants of Kosovo and advance regional stability in the Western Balkans.

USAID

USAID's projects in Kosovo focus on economic growth, democracy and governance to help achieve lasting security, prosperity and stability. Improved education, economic opportunities and quality of life increase the confidence of Kosovo Serbs that they have a viable future in Kosovo.
