LIFE EXPECTANCY AMONG ROMA, ASHKALI AND EGYPTIANS IN KOSOVO

Balkan Sunflowers Kosova together with partner Solidar Suisse Kosova took action to address the knowledge gap by conducting a health survey among the three communities in 2014. The full research findings and methodology are available in separate publication. The life expectancy of the Kosovo Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities is 58 years.

Based on the findings from the report, we are presenting 5 policy briefs with findings and recommendations with the aim to improve the health situation of these three communities.

Policy briefs, report and documentary film will be used as advocacy tool in raising awareness of the institutions, in both central and local level, about health problems these communities face.

These materials will be used to raise awareness of the communities as well in changing their way of living. We thank all of those who contributed in supporting these initiatives.
